It was a fantastic day at Kokomo Beach! The Trick or Tri 2026 by Foundation Tri Curaçao was on the programme this weekend and the beach was completely transformed: costumes, cowbells and plenty of brave faces everywhere.
50 athletes stood on the start line, from first-timers to seasoned racers chasing the clock through the Curaçao heat. They competed in the Super Sprint, the Sprint and the Sprint Relay.
The scariest part of any triathlon is the start line. Once you cross it, you find out you are stronger than you thought. Every finisher proved that again today.
And it was for more than a medal: a portion of the proceeds goes to Ronald McDonald House Curaçao. So every stroke, pedal and step helped families on our island.
