Eurosport is releasing a new documentary on Tadej Pogačar: Anatomy of a G.O.A.T. The episode explores how the five-time Tour winner became so dominant, and includes an extensive interview with Pogačar himself.
Big names from cycling also speak, including Eddy Merckx, Alberto Contador, Geraint Thomas and Matteo Trentin. His parents Mirko and Marjeta, former coach Iñigo San Millán and sports scientists Jean-Benoît Morin and Kristen Holmes also took part.
Merckx is full of praise: 'He brings back a form of cycling we had forgotten. He is now above me.' Contador goes even further: 'I think Tadej Pogačar is the best cyclist of all time.' He compares him to Usain Bolt: that dominant, in every race, from February to October.
The documentary runs about 45 minutes and airs Saturday 7 November from 13:50 (Dutch time) on Eurosport 1, and afterwards on HBO Max.
