The Caribbean is getting ready for a weekend of thrilling cycling! On 10 and 11 October 2026, the Dominican Republic hosts the Caribbean Elite & U23 Road Cycling Championships. The region’s best cyclists come together to compete for the Caribbean titles.
From the start to the final sprint, it is all about speed, strength and strategy. Elite and U23 riders proudly represent their countries: two days bringing sporting competition and Caribbean togetherness to life.
According to the official poster, the time trials take place on 10 October: the women start at 09:00 and the men at 10:45. On 11 October, the women’s and men’s road races are scheduled for 09:00. These are local times in the Dominican Republic.
For us on Curaçao, one important question remains: will the Curaçao Cycling Federation (CWB) send riders to this event? That is not yet known. A CWB delegation has therefore not been confirmed.
